Day 1: (Sunday) Arrival Madrid
Welcome to Madrid! Upon arrival at Madrid Airport, you will be transported to your hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. Spend the night in Madrid.
Day 2: (Monday) Madrid Tour
Today, your day will start with breakfast at the hotel. Heading to an expertly guided city tour will reveal the city's splendor. The Hapsburgs District, Plaza Mayor, Plaza de la Villa, the Royal Palace, the Cibeles and Neptuno Fountains, the Royal Palace, the Madrid of the Bourbons, and the Puerta de Alcalá are some examples of the city's intricate town planning designs. Modern Madrid's business and financial districts, the Santiago Bernabéu Football Stadium, and neighborhoods like Gran Vía, Castellana, and Salamanca are all part of contemporary Madrid. Enjoy a free afternoon to continue discovering everything that the city has to offer. Come to a local restaurant with your other travelers for a traditional welcome tapas dinner. Day 3: (Tuesday) Madrid - Salamanca - Porto
At the hotel for breakfast. We're heading for Salamanca via car, bound for Portugal. Spend some free time in this incredibly artistic and architecturally rich university city that is also a World Heritage Site. To go to Porto, keep going to the Portuguese border. UNESCO designated Porto, one of the oldest towns in Europe, a World Heritage Site in 1996. Porto is situated in northern Portugal, along the Douro River estuary. In Porto for the night.
Day 4: (Wednesday) Porto
Breakfast is served at the hotel. guided tour of Porto's sites. Admire the Santa Clara church, the Stock Exchange building, and the Cathedral. After that, take a wine-tasting excursion on a Douro River Cruise to see renowned Port Wine Cellars. The remainder of the day is free. Spend the night in Porto.
Day 5: (Thursday) Porto - Coimbra - Fatima
We leave for Coimbra, the cradle of Fado and home to one of Europe's oldest universities, after breakfast. Time to spare. Proceed to Fatima. The Chapel of the Apparitions, located in the centre of the sanctuary, has the tombs of the three shepherds, Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta. The sanctuary is also home to the spectacular Basilica and the Cova da Iria, where the Virgin Mary is said to have appeared. Attending the candle procession at night is an option. Spend the night in Fatima.
Day 6: (Friday) Fatima - Batalha - Nazare - Alcobaça - Lisbon
At the hotel for breakfast. Travel to the Batalha Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is a magnificent example of Gothic and Manueline architecture. Proceed to the quaint fishing village of Nazaré. Take some leisure time and proceed to Alcobaça (World Heritage), which features a Gothic church and a Cistercian monastery that originated in the sixteenth century. We keep going to Lisbon. Spend the night in Lisbon.
Day 7: (Saturday) Lisbon
Take part in an early morning city tour of the historic Olissipo after breakfast. Drive by the monument to the discoverers, Belem Tower, Jeronimos Monastery, Marquis of Pombal Square, Liberty Avenue, and other major squares and avenues. Afternoon is free for you to explore the charming alleys of Alfama Quarter, the historic district centred on its castle, where colourful, winding alleys of old buildings house authentic "tabernas." Join your fellow travellers for a traditional Portuguese meal at one of the city's oldest Fado venues, which is situated in a vibrant, cultural neighbourhood.
Spend the night in Lisbon.
Day 8: (Sunday) Lisbon - Caceres - Cordoba
Breakfast in the hotel. Returning to Spain, bound for Andalusian soils, we travel to Caceres, which is regarded as a World Heritage site due to its unique blend of Italian Renaissance, Roman, Islamic, and Northern Gothic architectural styles. Take a stroll through the Old Town, which has the renowned medieval quarter and Plaza Mayor. We keep moving towards Cordoba, which was formerly the Caliphate's capital. Spend the night in Cordoba.
Day 9: (Monday) Cordoba - Seville
Breakfast is served at the hotel. Enjoy an amazing tour of Cordoba's Mosque (admission included) and other locations that will lift our spirits while meandering through the Jewish Quarter's winding, tiny lanes. Proceed on your travels towards Seville in the afternoon. Spend the night in Seville.
Day 10: (Tuesday) Seville
Breakfast at the hotel. Tour of Seville, the capital of Andalusia, in the morning. See the Cathedral, which is the second-largest in the world after St. Peter's in Rome for Catholics. Proceed to the Santa Cruz neighbourhood, where you will find Carmen's natural setting and the myth of Don Juan. After that, proceed to Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España. You have the afternoon to yourself to explore the city of lights. Spend the night in Seville.
Day 11: (Wednesday) Seville - Ronda - Costa Del Sol
We will travel south to Ronda after breakfast at the hotel, passing through typical Andalusian villages. Take some leisure time to explore this Celtic-inspired village and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding valley and mountains. We continue our tour by visiting a nearby Almazara, LA Organic, for a true olive oil experience. Take a stroll around their fields of olive trees and sample the organic olive oil they produce. We're headed for the Costa del Sol, the stunning Mediterranean coast of Spain. Sleeping on the Costa Del Sol.
Day 12: (Thursday) Costa Del Sol - Granada
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, go to Granada, one of our favourite Spanish gems. We will tour the renowned Alhambra complex (entry included) and Generalife Gardens, with their magnificent historic setting. After some free time, get together with other travellers to enjoy dinner and the most genuine Gipsy Flamenco entertainment. Stay the night in Granada.
Day 13: (Friday) Granada - Toledo - Madrid
Breakfast at the hotel. Heading towards the magnificent Imperial city of Toledo, a World Heritage Site where the Christian, Moorish, and Jewish cultures have coexisted for generations. Take a guided city tour through the winding streets of this beautiful old town. Proceed to Madrid. Spend the night in Madrid.
Day 14: (Friday) Departure Madrid
After breakfast at the hotel, head to the airport in Madrid. Final Services.
